Documents Needed
Dwarkadhish Overseas can check your registration details before filing the application.
Lost your IEC copy or never got it by email? You can download your IEC certificate online from the DGFT portal at any time.
The IEC certificate download is free. You can download IEC certificate copies as often as you need, and the IEC code download works for every business type.
The IEC download takes less than a minute once you are logged in. Menu names on the DGFT portal can change after updates. If you cannot find the option, look for IEC under the Services menu.
The PDF you download is your official IEC copy. DGFT issues the certificate in electronic form only, so there is no separate paper copy.
You can print the IEC copy on plain paper for your files. You can also download your import export certificate and send it by email to banks, Customs brokers, shipping lines or buyers.
Some IEC holders cannot finish the IEC registration certificate download on their own. The common reasons are a lost DGFT login, an old email address or a deactivated IEC.
An IEC can also be deactivated when the annual update is missed. In that case the certificate will not show as active until the update is done.
Our team can recover your DGFT access, fix the profile and download the certificate for you.
Banks, buyers and Customs brokers often verify an IEC certificate before they do business with you. IEC online verification is quick and free on the DGFT portal.
Open the public IEC search under the Services menu. Enter the IEC number and the firm name as it appears on PAN. The result shows whether the IEC is active, along with the registered details.
Some people search for this facility as Know Your IEC. If your IEC verification shows inactive, complete the annual update first or ask us to check it.
